Belton's football game against Killeen Shoemaker at Leo Buckley Stadium, which was in a lightning delay for more than two hours, will resume at 9:30 p.m.

The game was delayed at 7:17 p.m. and lightning and heavy rain soon followed.

The Tigers led 7-0 with 3:01 remaining in the first quarter.

David Ash connected with T.J. Sholars on a 77-yard touchdown pass, and immediately after Tyler Pate kicked the extra point the officials called the game.
