Come experience the excitement of Altrusa's 23rd annual Taste of the Holidays luncheon on Nov. 19. This year the much-anticipated annual luncheon, "Tastes Fit for Santa," will feature a healthy gourmet meal.

The Frank W. Mayborn Civic and Convention Center will come alive with classic Christmas red and a festive, fit Mrs. Santa. The tables, style-show runway and stage will feature dozens of red poinsettias adorned with decorations to emphasize the theme.

Reservation forms are being mailed to past attendees. The RSVP deadline is Oct. 23. The price is $25 per person or $192 for a reserved table of eight. No reservations will be available at the door. Reservation forms are at www.altrusatemple.com under the Taste of the Holidays tab, at Sherri's The RoseBud or either of Temple's Curves locations.

Altrusa International, Inc. of Temple uses the proceeds of its annual Taste of the Holidays to support its many community projects including college scholarships, international students, Temple Community Free Clinic, Partners In Education, Families in Crisis, Helping Hands Ministry, Central Texas Art Competition, Temple Literacy Council and Ronald McDonald House.

Chair Janna Bonnett and co-chair Ann Graham, along with the decorations committee, Dianne Hensley, Sandi Wood, and Sylvia Winkler have been hard at work organizing and creating a "Tastes Fit for Santa" setting for all to enjoy.
