The Little River Bridge on FM 1915 was to be opened at 6 p.m. following an inspection by the Texas Department of Transportation's Bridge Division from Austin.
A fire in a large pile of logs caught on the bridge after recent flooding caused minor damage to the bridge. TxDOT workers readjusted the logjam from the piers. TxDOT will continue to monitor the bridge.
