The Department of Public Safety will close the northbound lane starting at exit 308 and reopening at exit 311.
The reconstruction is expected to take several hours.

The accident occurred at about 10:20 a.m. Sept. 23 when a Humvee traveling south went airborne, crossed over a concrete barrier on I-35 in Troy, sheared off the top of a small car, then collided with the cab of an 18-wheeler. Drivers of all three vehicles died at the scene.
It was raining at the time of the accident, a Troy police officer said.
