The teams traded touchdowns in the first half, with the Yoemen (4-3, 1-2 District 24-3A) taking a 13-12 lead by halftime. Steven Townsend hit Davis Brown on a 47-yard pass in the first quarter and Townsend went 25 yards to Brandon Freeman in the second.
Madisonville's Brock Taylor and Darien Byrd, who both scored in the first half, went in from 23 and 16 yards, respectively, in the fourth quarter to put the Mustangs (4-4, 2-2) up 25-13.
Yoe's James Wells went in from the 1 to close the gap to six, but the Yoemen were unable to get back in the end zone.
Madisonville used its running game for 289 yards while holding the Yoemen to just 29. Townsend passed for 221 yards.
Rogers 21, Lexington 20
LEXINGTON - Garrett Rice pounced on a fumble in the end zone for the decisive touchdown to give the Rogers Eagles a key victory over Lexington.
Trailing 20-14, E.J. Larkin fumbled into the end zone on a run from the 6. Rice recovered and Kory Mitchell added the tie-breaking point with 6:49 left in the game. Lexington (4-4, 2-2 District 25-2A) had an opportunity to retake the lead late, but a 47-yard field-goal attempt failed and Rogers (6-1, 3-0) hung on.
Lago Vista 14, Salado 0
LAGO VISTA - Salado found little room to operate as Lago Vista held the Eagles to 114 yards in a shutout.
Jason Cormier, who rushed for 181 yards on 26 carries, scored on a 15-yard run in the first quarter. The Vikings added another touchdown, a 2-yard run by Jonathan Powell, in the third quarter to account for the final margin.
The Eagles (2-6, 2-2 District 25-2A) rushed for 17 yards and turned the ball over three times. Cole Brentham was 8-of-12 for 86 yards, but the Vikings (4-2, 2-1) picked off two passes.
Troy 45, Moody 0
MOODY - Troy posted big numbers early and went on to rout Moody.
Troy (6-1, 4-0 District 16-2A) remained atop the district standings with three games to play. Moody (2-5, 0-4) remained winless in district play.
The Trojans got touchdowns from five players. Roy Freeman scored on a 70-yard punt return and a 32-yard run.
Bodazypha Farmer, Trey Collier and Cyrus McKenzie all scored on 1-yard runs and quarterback Dylan Sebek hit Jerek Foster on a 35-yard TD pass.
Devin Hill paced the Trojans' balanced rushing attack with 80 yards on six carries.
Bryan 39, Killeen Ellison 29
KILLEEN - Bryan scored 19 fourth-quarter points to overtake Killeen Ellison at Leo Buckley Stadium.
The Eagles (3-4, 1-3 District 12-5A) led 21-20 in the third before the Vikings (4-3, 3-1) erupted.
Nate Jones powered Bryan with 244 rushing yards and four touchdowns. David Cobb ran for 134 yards and scored three times for Ellison.
A&M Consolidated 34, Killeen Shoemaker 12
COLLEGE STATION - Killeen Shoemaker's dreadful season continued with a lopsided loss to College Station A&M Consolidated.
The Grey Wolves (0-7, 0-4 District 12-5A) snapped the ball out of the end zone for safeties on their first two possessions and totaled 173 yards.
The Tigers (4-3, 3-1) scratched out 278 yards on the ground to remain in the hunt for one of the district's four playoff spots.
Lampasas 42, Dripping Springs 21
DRIPPING SPRINGS - The Lampasas Badgers scored in every quarter and rolled to a rout of Dripping Springs.
Edward Hall amassed 219 yards on 35 carries and scored touchdowns on runs of 49, 1, 2 and 1 yards to pace the Badgers (2-5, 1-2 District 25-4A).
Hall's first two touchdowns and an Aaron Reyna 13-yard scamper gave the Badgers a 21-0 advantage.
Van Millican hit Aspen Murray from 19 yards out as the Badgers put the Tigers (2-6, 0-4) in a 28-7 halftime hole.
Crawford 46, Bruceville-Eddy 6
CRAWFORD - The Crawford Pirates piled up 469 yards and rolled over Bruceville-Eddy to get back in the District 16-2A race.
The Pirates (5-2, 2-2 in 16-2A) got three touchdowns from Bryce Murphy and a pair of touchdown passes from Chane Lynch.
The Eagles (1-6, 0-4) picked up their only score on a 40-yard pass from Sheldon Walker to Sul Ross.
Rosebud-Lott 20, Teague 13
TEAGUE - Ernesto Flores hit Hunter Neumann on a 6-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter to provide the difference in Rosebud-Lott's victory over Teague.
After falling behind 13-0 in the first quarter, the Cougars (3-4, 1-1 District 20-2A) ran off 20 unanswered points, including 13 in the second to pull even with Teague (1-6, 0-2) by halftime.
Flores threw for 205 yards to lead the Cougars, with Neumann grabbing nine catches for 106 yards.
Florence 70, Jarrell 7
JARRELL - Florence put on an offensive show, racking up 588 yards en route to a dominating win over Jarrell.
The Buffaloes (2-5, 1-2 District 25-2A) led 28-7 at halftime before adding 28 more in the third quarter to turn the game into a rout.
The Cougars (0-7, 0-4) had just 167 yards and scored on their first possession, a 63-yard pass from Dwight Culp to Clayton Kovar.
Thrall 13, Granger 0
THRALL - The Thrall Tigers punched across a pair of touchdowns and held Granger out of the end zone to earn the victory.
Tucker Lovelace broke loose on a 61-yard touchdown romp to put the Tigers (3-3, 2-0 District 26-A) on the board in the first quarter. Hayden Caffey added a 9-yard score in the third to account for all of the game's points.
Four turnovers were costly to the Lions (0-7, 0-2), who got inside the Thrall 20 once but couldn't convert.
Thorndale 26, Milano 7
MILANO - The Milano Eagles (5-1, 1-1 District 26-A) suffered their first loss at the hands of the Thorndale Bulldogs (5-2, 2-0).
Cedar Park Summit 62, Central Texas Christian 16
Central Texas Christian grabbed an early lead but Cedar Park Summit scored 28 uanswered points and rolled past the Lions in a TAPPS District 3-Six-Man game that ended in the third quarter because of the 45-point mercy rule.
The Lions (3-5, 1-1) got 117 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries from Taylor Truitt and 94 yards on nine carries from Caleb Paschall.
Jonathan Andrew had seven rushing touchdowns for Summit (6-2, 2-0).
Bryan Allen 57, Holy Trinity Catholic 12
BRYAN - Holy Trinity Catholic held Bryan Allen to 239 yards, but the Celtics' defensive effort wasn't nearly enough to overtake the Rams in a non-district six-man game.
Holy Trinity (3-5) scored both of its touchdowns in the second quarter on Jacob Daheim passes - an 11-yarder to Dakota Stonebrook and a 36-yarder to Christian Wiedenfeld.
The Rams (6-2) grabbed a 37-0 first-quarter lead, and their third-quarter touchdown ended the game on the 45-point mercy rule.
