Children dress up as dragons, knights, princesses and other medieval characters from the culture of Canterbury, England. The event will include lunch, games, crafts, pony rides and the unveiling of the school's new mascot.
The faire began at the school in 1988, substituting a medieval theme to celebrate the Halloween season.
The event is called "Canterbury Faire," because Canterbury, England, is the birthplace of the Anglican Church, later called the Episcopal Church in America.
For more information about the event, call the school at 774-8622.
It's not the only kid-oriented event this weekend. Here is a list of others. Look in Sunday's Life section for next week's events and in the Arts & Entertainment magazine for haunts fit for youth and adults.
