The Texas Rose Opry and Dance features live music at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Texas Rose Event Center, 893 E. FM 93 in Temple.

This month, J.C. Holloway, Mary Dooley, The Texas Trio, Shalane and Madlyon Oppermann will perform along with The Texas Rose Band, including Shorty Grisham, Bud Harger, Ralph Sparks, James Adams and Larry Burgin.

At the concession area, there will be hot links, nachos, chicken salad sandwiches, drinks and peach cobbler for dessert.
