BELTON - Horses and burros running wild on federal land months ago are at the Bell County Expo Center until Sunday morning and available for adoption for as little as $125 each.
The sale, conducted by the Bureau of Land Management, began with an auction Friday morning where during the first round only six bids were offered.
By 3 p.m. only 11 of the 75 horses and burros had sold.
