The win clinched the district's No. 3 postseason seed for Belton (15-23, 9-5 in 12-5A), which will open the Class 5A playoffs next Monday or Tuesday.

Lady Leopards top Cisco in five
CISCO - The Temple College Lady Leopards pulled out an ugly win Tuesday night, beating Cisco 25-22, 20-25, 16-25, 25-20, 15-8.
"We played sloppy but we pulled it out," Lady Leopards coach Mary Reese said.
Temple (17-20, 8-1 Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference) travels to Vernon on Thursday.

Temple-Belton tickets on sale today
Tickets are on sale for the Temple-Belton rivalry game at 7 p.m. Thursday at Wildcat Stadium.
They will be sold at Temple's athletic office and there is a limit of 10 adult tickets per customer. Tickets are $7 for general admission and $3 for children. All tickets sold at the gate are $8. For more information, call 215-7093.
Tickets also can be purchased 8 a.m.-2 p.m. today and Thursday at the Belton athletic business office at 400 N. Wall St. There will be approximately 5,000 seats available on the visitors' side.
Fans are encouraged to arrive for the game early. No Halloween costumes or face paint will be allowed. For more information call 215-2024.
