The THS theater department presents Disney's "Beauty and the Beast," opening at 8 p.m. Thursday with a company of 183 students, including children as young as 3. The musical includes all of the popular songs and new ones by Alan Menken and Tim Rice. The cast includes everyone from the beloved main characters to the dancing dishes and street characters.
For senior Trenton Schneiders, playing the Beast has been his toughest role yet.
"The expectations are so high," he said. "I have a lot to live up to."
