Burial will be 3:30 p.m. in Karnes City Cemetery.
Mr. Garza died Sunday, Nov. 1, in a local hospital.
He was born June 1, 1934, in Kenedy to Santos F. and Lionarda Rosales Garza.
He was the groundskeeper superintendant at the Rockdale Country Club for 35 years before he retired. He married Modesta Garcia on June 18, 1954, at St. Cornelius Catholic Church in Karnes City. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rockdale.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Salvador Garza Jr. of Waco and Mario Garza of Rockdale; a daughter, Dalia Garza of Rockdale; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. today with a Rosary recited at 7 p.m. at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.
