"We will be working with our architects and stakeholders over the upcoming weeks to finalize our designs," said Eric Haugeberg, BISD assistant superintendent.
The bond election passed with a tally of 54 percent for, or 2,357 votes, and 46 percent against, or 1,972. BISD is planning a meeting at 8 p.m. Nov. 13 to canvass the votes.
A presentation is tentatively scheduled at the November BISD school board meeting, where district officials will update their plans for the public.
