Services for Danny Ray Venable, 52, of Temple will be 11 a.m. Friday at Eighth Street Baptist Church in Temple with the Rev. Roscoe Harrison officiating.

Burial will follow in Temple Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Mr. Venable died Monday, Nov. 2, at his home.

He was born on Dec. 5, 1955, to Willie Venable Sr. and Anna Lois Venable in Temple. He was a 1974 graduate of Temple High School and Almeda College and University with a degree in computer science. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He worked for the Temple Daily Telegram.

Survivors include three brothers, Willie B. Venable Jr. and Ronnie Venable, both of Katy and Larry Venable of Laporte; a sister, Vickie Venable of Baytown; and his mother of Temple.

Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. today at Branford/Dawson Funeral Home in Temple.
