Sportsman's Club hosts live music show Saturday

The Central Texas Sportsman's Club at Lake Belton will have its Jamboree at 6 p.m. Saturday at the club off FM 2305 on Cen-Tex Sportsman's Club Road.

Area entertainers will perform country and gospel music. Gospel singer Bill Moon and his wife from Belton, Doyle Taylor, and Cody Culp from Temple, Bob Powell from Buckholts and Lee and Sharon Billect will perform. The Sportsman's Band will provide musical backup. Band members are James Edds on guitar and vocals, James Irish on bass guitar and vocals, Hayden Woods on guitar and vocals, Claude Chandler on drums, Ed Cosper on guitar and vocals and Dan Curtis on guitar and vocals.

The concession stand opens at 5:30 p.m. serving charbroiled hamburgers, sausage wraps, chopped beef barbecue sandwiches, cold drinks, coffee and homemade deserts.

The Sportsman's Jamboree provides family entertainment in a smoke and alcohol-free environment. There is no admission, but donations are accepted.
