The quest for those three wins begins at 11 a.m. today, Temple faces Cisco at Brookhaven College in Dallas in the double-elimination NJCAA Region 5B Tournament.
The Lady Leopards have had little trouble against the Lady Wranglers this year, winning 25-14, 25-19, 25-23 at home at 25-22, 20-25, 16-25, 25-20, 15-8 at Cisco.
Though TC enters the tournament with a 19-21 record, it has the advantage of being the top seed after winning the Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference title with a 9-1 record.
"We had a good week of preparation," TC coach Mary Reese said. "The girls feel good about their chances."
The Lady Leopards' lone conference loss was to Hill, which finished second in conference and will play North Central at 1 p.m. in the other opening-round match.
The winners will meet at 5 p.m., with the winner of that match advancing to Sunday's 3 p.m. championship match. The opening-round losers will meet at 7 p.m. today.
Reese said the Lady Leopards likely could meet Hill or North Central in the championship match, and would prefer Hill.
"Height-wise, I think we match up better with them," she said. "It's not for revenge. We just like our front line height against theirs."
