FORT HOOD - Leaders of a task force, formed by Defense Secretary Robert Gates to review weaknesses in Pentagon policies in the wake of a shooting that killed 13 and wounded dozens, were on the ground at Fort Hood on Tuesday.

The Pentagon's review board is headed by former Army Secretary and Veterans Administration Secretary Togo West and former Chief of Naval Operations retired admiral Vern Clark.
