At the classic car show people gathered around the 1969 emerald green Ford Mustang Mach I owned by Butch Moore of Temple. Another car that gathered interest was the 1925 Willy's Overlander Model 91 owned by Michael and Gretchen Allen of Belton.

Activities designed for children were increased for the 2009 festival. Jumping castles, train rides pulled by a John Deere and a petting zoo were some of the more popular attractions for the children.

Jason Strickly, 7, of Belton enjoyed the petting zoo most of all the activities.

"I like the baby deer and the kangaroo has really soft fur," Strickly said. "He would be nice and soft for a pillow."
