Temple coach Bryce Monsen said he expects the Wildcats’ other signees this afternoon to be defensive back Toravion Belcher and tight end Quientel Rutledge with Cisco Junior College and quarterback Jonathan Bane with Trinity Valley Community College in Athens.
Monsen said kicker/punter Chris Winkler is expected to walk on at Baylor and that center Brett Gunn and defensive end D.J. Daniels might announce their college decisions as early as today.
Belton linebacker Kyle Voss is expected to sign with Division II West Texas A&M, which also has a commitment from Killeen offensive lineman Craig Watts. Also, Cove safety Rashad Hardy has committed to FCS program Sam Houston State and Division II Angelo State has a pledge from Harker Heights receiver C.J. Akins.
Cove’s tandem of linebacker Tanner Brock and receiver/kick returner Josh Boyce graduated in December and has enrolled at Texas Christian.
The Salado pair of linebacker Patrick Prince and defensive lineman Tyler Coker have made verbal commitments to play for Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton. Expected to commit to the Crusaders today are Belton offensive lineman Cody Gangloff, Bartlett linebacker Kevin Garcia and Jay Jackson of Ellison.
Salado offensive lineman Chase Stuckey has decided on Cisco, as has Shoemaker receiver M.J. Porter.
