Michael Meissner was arrested Sept. 14 on seven felony charges after police raided a home he was renting in Arlington they said appeared to be a porn studio.
Meissner was charged out of Dallas County with engaging in organized criminal activity, obstruction or retaliation, and misuse of official information.
According to a spokeswoman with Tarrant County District Attorney's Office, no charges have been filed in Tarrant County where it was earlier reported that Meissner faced charges for sexual performance by a child, engaging in organized criminal activity, attempted possession or promotion of child pornography, and promotion of prostitution.
Meissner could not be reached for comment Thursday.
Little River-Academy Mayor Ronnie White hired Meissner on a month-to-month trial basis in March.
White was aware that Meissner changed jobs frequently and of media reports that questioned Meissner's conduct on his past few jobs, but said he wanted to give him a chance.
Five months later, on Aug. 20, after several complaints about his conduct, Meissner resigned from his position with mutual agreement from the city council.
Meissner later commented about being a Little River-Academy police officer, saying, "This has been a good stepping stone for me. This is one of the nicest towns I've worked at."
