The old adage "if at first you don't succeed try, try again" proved true for Hannah Gokingco as she took first place in Saturday's 79th annual Bell County Spelling Bee.
Gokingco, an eighth-grader at St. Mary's School, was runner-up in last year's event, which is sponsored by the Temple Daily Telegram.
