Advertising Sales
and Marketing Assistant
The Temple Daily Telegram has a career opportunity for an
individual with excellent computer, office management and
customer service skills. This key, full-time position works closely
with the advertising sales managers and account representatives,
providing them with sales materials, reports and information that
they need to be successful. The ideal candidate will have a sales
and marketing background and can take the lead on projects and
events, as assigned.
Preferred skills and qualifications:
• 3 or more years of Microsoft Office experience, including
mastery of Excel and PowerPoint, or Google Docs, Slides
and Sheets
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work quickly and accurately, meeting established
• Detail-oriented
• Problem solver and self-starter
• Organized with good time-management skills
• Accounting experience is preferred
• Customer service experience is preferred
• Marketing and sales background is preferred
• Positive, team-player attitude required
