St. Luke fish fry
The Knights of Columbus Council No. 7197 will hold a Lenten fish fry 5-7 p.m. Friday at St. Luke Catholic Church, 2807 Oakdale Drive in Temple.
All-you-can-eat plates cost $10 and include fried and grilled fish, pinto beans, coleslaw, French fries, hush puppies and drink. Scout troop No. 152 will serve desserts for an extra donation.
Our Lady of Guadalupe fish fry
Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 707 S. Sixth St. in Temple, will hold a fish fry 5-8 p.m. Friday.
Plates are $10 each and include two fish filets, cole slaw, French fries, hush puppies and iced tea.
Westphalia fish fry
The Westphalia Knights of Columbus Council No. 13902 will hold a drive-thru shrimp and fish fry 3:30-7:15 p.m. (or until sold out) every Friday through April 12 at the parish hall at 3000 State Highway 320 in Westphalia.
Plates cost $10 each and include fried shrimp, fried fish, beans, coleslaw and French fries.
Alzheimer’s walk
Registration is now open for the 19th annual Bell County Alzheimer’s Texas Walk, which will take place Oct. 19 at Confederate Park in Belton. St. Monica’s Ladies Festival
The St. Monica’s Ladies Festival will take place 11 a.m. Sunday, March 31, at Simon-George Hall, 401 S. Karnes Ave. in Cameron. The event will include a meal. Plates cost $10 each and include barbecue chicken and Green’s sausages. The event also will feature a silent auction country store, and cake wheel.
Relay for Life barbecue
Salem Lutheran Church is holding an American Cancer Society Relay for Life barbecue from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, March 24, at Seaton Star Hall in Seaton.
Plates cost $10 each and include barbecue beef, sausage, beans, potato salad, coleslaw, dessert and tea.
The event will also include live and silent auctions.
Spring Market
The Contemporaries of the Azalee Marshall Cultural Activities Center will hold a Spring Market fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, March 29-30, at the CAC, located at 3011 N. Third St. in Temple.
The event will feature an upscale resale boutique and more than 30 vendors. There also will be food trucks, live music, and children’s activities presented by the Temple Children’s Museum. Admission is free.
