Vacation Bible school

Heidi Cowan with Immanuel Lutheran Church in Temple passes around a mixture representing snow for children attending a previous vacation Bible school with an “Everest” theme.

As local school children anxiously await the freedom summer brings, many parents are looking for constructive activities for their kids to participate in during the summer months.

Many area churches will be offering Vacation Bible School programs for kids of all ages to participate in. These programs teach life lessons and Bible stories in a fun, engaging environment.
