A motorcyclist was killed Thanksgiving Day when the motorcycle and a vehicle collided at a Temple intersection.

Temple police officers were dispatched at 9:03 p.m. Thursday to the intersection of West Adams Avenue and Woodbridge Boulevard, a news release said.

The motorcyclist died at the scene. That person’s identity was not immediately released.

The driver of the vehicle did not sustain injuries.

A section of West Adams Avenue near the scene was closed at the time.
