Sister Karen Elaine King Griffen, age 55, of Millen, Ga., passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021, in Millen, Ga. Celebration of Life Services will be held Saturday, September 25, 2021, 10:00 a.m., at Greater Zion Temple COGIC, Temple, TX. Visitation will be held Friday, September 24, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Branford/Dawson Funeral Home. Interment to be held, Tuesday, September 28, at 10:00 a.m., at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, Killeen, TX.

Funeral services for Rosendo Temeyosa, Sr., age 84 of Temple, will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday September 25, 2021 at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Burial, with military honors, will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors from 5-7:00PM Friday September 24, 2021 at the funeral home.

Dr. Donna Walker-Nixon, a retired professor at Baylor University, passed away Friday, September 3, 2021, in the Intensive Care Unit at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas. Inurnment of her ashes will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco, Texas, at 2 pm Saturday, September 25, 2021, with Father David Krause officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Friday, September 24, 2021 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.

Ronald Frank Davis, age 78, of Temple passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Scott and White Hospital after a short lived illness of Covid, with his beloved wife, Mary, by his side.

A visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 from 5-7pm at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7pm.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 10am at Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton, Texas followed by Burial at Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple.

There will be a visitation at the Broecker Funeral Home in Salado on Wednesday, September 22nd from 5-7pm. The celebration of his life will be held at 10am Thursday, September 23rd at Salado United Methodist Church. The family requests that all guests please respect their wishes and wear masks. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.

Carmen Levine Sanchez, Jr., was given the gift of life on June 22, 1964, in San Antonio, Texas. On September 16, 2021, at the age of 57.

A funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church Temple on Sept. 23, 2021. Visitation will be 10-11:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Russell Jones, M.D., M.Div. officiating. Burial will follow at Greathouse Cemetery.
