A Bell County grand jury indicted Lorenzo Rendon Pineda, 41, of Moody on one count of indecency with a child by a contact.

The Texas Penal Code defines indecency with a child by contact as a second-degree felony, punishable by 2-20 years imprisonment and a fine not to exceed $10,000.

Although 26 sexually-based offenses were reported to the Temple Police Department from Jan. 1 to April 13, 2015, the Telegram wasn’t told about them because reports of sexual assaults, aggravated sexual assaults and indecency with a child are among offenses not listed in daily incident reports the department releases on RAIDSOnline.

RAIDSOnline is the website the department uses to list the calls to which its officers respond.
